Welcome to the home of the Australian Labradoodle
the perfect alchemy of beauty, intelligence and gentleness!

Our story

The multi-generational Australian Labradoodle came into our lives in January 2011 when a little ball of fur with the sweet name of Gaïa crossed the threshold of our home.

A small female with a magnificent chocolate coat, she arrived from her native Wales to brighten up our lives.

She was a very serene, gentle and peaceful dog. Very close to her family, she also had a special affection for her big playmate, Maya, our cat.

From these 13 years of unfailing happiness has grown our passion for this exceptional breed, wonderfully balanced, combining calm, gentleness and affection.

Since then, Calie, a sparkling little Welsh girl, and June, an adorable little English girl, have joined our tribe. They will soon be joined by Willow, another little British wonder.

Thanks to our Doodles de Gaia family breeding programme, one of the very first in France, we will be delighted to help you discover the qualities of the authentic multi-generational Australian Labradoodle. We hope that you will experience the same happiness as we do when you share your life with this wonderful dog.

Why choose
the Australian Labradoodle?

The Australian Labradoodle is a unique companion, a true blend of gentleness and intelligence, designed to capture the hearts of those who meet him.

Its affectionate nature makes it a fully-fledged member of the family, always ready to bring comfort and joy. Whether it's a soothing presence or energetic play, the Australian Labradoodle adapts to every situation with disconcerting ease, offering the perfect balance of calm and vitality.

Not only is this dog intelligent, it is also particularly receptive, making it easy to train. Its ability to learn quickly and respond enthusiastically to commands makes it not only an excellent companion, but also an excellent assistance or therapy dog.

The soft, non-shedding coat means that the majority of allergy sufferers can enjoy the company of a dog to the full, minimising or even completely eliminating the usual inconveniences associated with hair.

By choosing a genuine Australian Labradoodle, you're choosing an infinite source of joy, tenderness, laughter and happiness. In a word: well-being in your life.

Australian Labradoodle vs Labradoodle

Don't confuse the multi-generational Australian Labradoodle with the Labradoodle.

Adopting a multigenerational Australian Labradoodle rather than a Labradoodle offers a number of advantages, including consistency of characteristics, hypoallergenicity and temperament.

Consistency of characteristics

The genuine Australian Labradoodle, unlike the Labradoodle, is the result of several generations of cross-breeding, including not only the Labrador and the Poodle, but also breeds such as the Cocker Spaniel. This rigorous selection over several generations has helped to stabilise the breed, guaranteeing uniformity in terms of appearance, coat and temperament. Labradoodles, being first-generation crosses (Labrador/Poodle), are highly variable, making it difficult to predict their characteristics.

An "allergy-friendly" dog

Another major advantage of the Australian Labradoodle is its hypoallergenic nature. The Australian Labradoodle has been specifically bred to minimise these risks thanks to a curly or woolly coat that considerably reduces moulting and reduces the release of dander, making these dogs ideal for allergy sufferers. Labradoodles, on the other hand, can inherit coats that vary from Labrador-like with greater shedding to Poodle-like, more suitable for allergy sufferers.

Temperament and training

Finally, the multi-generational Australian Labradoodle is renowned for its balanced temperament and easy upbringing. Male or female, there is no significant difference in character or behaviour. The choice of sex is no longer a concern. Thanks to stable genetic selection, these dogs are sociable, intelligent and easy to train, making them particularly suitable for families and people looking for a companion or assistance dog. Their gentle nature and desire to please make training easy, even for novice owners.
